Every commission starts with Johan in your living room, listening. Back in the studio the design is drawn, the palette is chosen and the piece list is written — and you approve it before anything is ordered.

The studio
Johan designs. The studio builds it, installs it, and comes back to take it down.
Johan Nova is a holiday design studio in Fort Lauderdale. An interior designer by training, Johan composed rooms long before the studio carried his name — and Christmas turned out to be the discipline he loved most: one room, one season, one reveal.
Every commission is designed for one house. The trees are dressed in the studio, branch by branch, and installed complete by the same team that built them — in Fort Lauderdale, across Miami and South Florida. When the celebration ends, the studio returns and takes it all down. Nothing is left on your list.
What we design
Three seasons, one studio.
Christmas is the masterwork. The Fourth of July and Halloween are designed for the same families, with the same team and the same standard.

The masterwork, reserved from late summer. Seven collections and the custom commissions built on them — installed in October and November, enjoyed in December, taken down in January.

02 · The workshop
Built by hand, branch by branch.
The trees are dressed in the studio, on their stands, under studio light — ribbon tied by hand, glass placed one piece at a time. What arrives at your house is finished.
03 · Your home
Installed by the same hands.
The studio’s own team delivers and installs — floors covered, nothing improvised, working around your day. In January they come back and take everything down: no boxes, no storage, nothing on your list.
The designer
Meet Johan Nova.
An interior designer by training, Johan composed rooms long before the studio carried his name. Christmas turned out to be the discipline he loved most: one room, one season, one reveal.
He still leads every commission himself — the first conversation in your living room, the palette, the final walk-through — and that is the reason the studio takes on only so many each season.
Every collection begins as a full tree dressed in the studio, and every commission is one of those trees, adapted to your room. Between Decembers, the studio designs the Fourth of July and Halloween for the same families — from Fort Lauderdale, across Miami and South Florida.
